Gotta say I loved the Serenity area on the Imagination (may she r.i.p.), since on the Fantasy-class ships it's in the back, serene and out of the wind. Mardi Gras Cove Balcony staterooms are the best way to see the sea — these rooms get you close to the waterline, and feature balconies that let you make the most of your location. Enjoy things from a whole new perspective: one amazing up-close view of the wake and seafoam as the ship cruises along. I have never been in a interior, so my comments are somewhat jaded. That said, most interiors are along the walls of the Havana bar (in non Excel class ships), so my guess is there may be ambient noise. The action in the bar stops at 11. Just something to consider.
