Hello. I am planning on a short visit to NOLA for the first time during the Mardi Gras. I will be arriving at MSY airport on Sunday, 2/19, and leaving on Tuesday, 2/21. I initially booked an airport shuttle for getting to French Quarter from the airport and coming back to the airport. Parking is at a major premium in the city during Mardi Gras, and the police are quick to tow or heavily fine illegally-parked vehicles. Unless your hotel provides parking, use taxis, ride-share services, and/or public transportation to get into New Orleans from the airport and then around the city.
