Just off the Mardi-Gras this morning with a couple of cabin location suggestions . Balcony cabins midship-stern on the starboard sign you may smell the smokers below you (if that bothers you) If you can grab one of those balconies that begin a row of cabins of the same category , as #14495 as we had. (same cruise rate as cabins) next door . The Haven Suite category on the Carnival Mardi Gras provides an exclusive, luxurious experience for guests. When you book a Haven Suite, you can enjoy spacious rooms with high-quality furnishings, large balcony areas, and premium amenities to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Deck 11 would be preferable along the sides of the ship but I do not know about the front. On the sides, balconies on 11 can look right down into those on lower decks while Deck 12 balconies do not overlook those on Deck 11. As I said, I do not know if this holds true with a front suite.
