Hotel Mazarin, would be my vote. I do not like to be on the other side of Canal during Mardi Gras. So much going on in the quarter. But that is just me. I do not like parades that much. Prefer people watching. But if you plan on watching parades mostly then Sheraton. Hi everyone. The hotels are expensive, I agree, but I just did a quick Airbnb check too, and it doesn’t look much better if you don’t want to pay $100 a day for Ubers to/from while also staying in a sketch hood. That being said, the Mardi Gras is absolutely massive and there is something to keep your attention almost 24 hours a day. The balcony cabins are much narrower than they are on older ships from the minute you open the cabin door to the balcony itself, but if you haven't sailed Carnival before you will not notice it.
