When Is Mardi Gras 2025 In Birmingham, Alabama. Mardi Gras 2025 is happening on 4th March,in Birmingham, Alabama with extensive celebratory events and activities to look forward to! Hold your breath, there is a lot coming your way. This annual Mardi Gras Party and 2nd Line is hosted by Commissioner Sheila Tyson! It's a free event to everyone 19 years of age and older but it does require a free ticket. This year, we will host Mannie Fresh, Darrin Henson, Lil G (the Lead Singer of Silk), Birmingham's own Sherri B, and Ebony Steele! Mardi Gras in The Magic City | City Walk Bham.
