Le Festival de Mardi Gras a Lafayette will run from Friday, February 28 through March 4 (Mardi Gras Day). The festivities will kick off on Friday, February 28 with the Krewe Allons Kick-Off Parade, which will roll at 6:30 pm. Le Festival de Mardi Gras a Lafayette is the ending point for that parade and all the other weekend Lafayette parades. Friday, Feb. 28 – Tuesday, March 4 – Le Festival de Mardi Gras à Lafayette – Cajun Field, Lafayette. Carnival rides and games, live music, food vendors, and parades roll through the "Join us for the vibrant LA Festival de Mardi Gras from February 28 to March 4, 2025, at Cajun Field! One of the biggest celebrations in all of Acadiana is Le Festival de Mardi Gras a Lafayette at Cajun Field and we're happy to announce that the fun will be returning. The festivities will kick off this Friday, February 9 with the new Kick-Off Parade, which will roll at 6:30 pm. 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1 – Krewe of Bonaparte Mardi Gras Parade is scheduled at the intersection of Jefferson and Simcoe Streets, then along the parade route before turning into Cajun Field They will be repositioned on Thursday, February 27, 2025, and remain in place until the final parade on Mardi Gras Day, Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Streets along and around the parade route will be closed one hour before each parade begins. Citizens should avoid these areas to minimize traffic congestion.
