With 20 decks and enough space for 6500 guests, Carnival's Mardi Gras offers many fun attractions and innovative features. This includes Carnival Cruise Line's first-ever roller coaster at sea Mardi Gras Staterooms. Carnival ship Mardi Gras boasts a lot of restaurants for your dining needs. Carnival Mardi Gras offers a variety of specialty restaurants, including Cucina del Capitano and Chibang, which are included in the cruise fare. The ship features Bolt: The Ultimate Seacoaster, the first rollercoaster at sea, which costs $15 per person and requires reservations. I don't think the layout is bad at all or hard to navigate. What does make it harder is just the amount of things to do and see. I don't think I saw half of the ship on our first trip. It's just big.
