Guests who are scheduled to arrive at the terminal before 1:30pm, usually check their bags with a porter so they can be free to enjoy lunch on Lido Deck before access to their stateroom is granted. Checked baggage service is only available until 2 hours before the ship's published departure time. First completed in June 2020, Cruise Terminal 3 (also known as CT3) at Port Canaveral is the port’s newest addition, but it may be best known as the new home of Carnival’s newest — and largest — ship, Mardi Gras. If you are sailing on the Carnival Mardi Gras from Port Canaveral, you will be boarding the ship through cruise terminal 3 (CT3). In this video we give you Cruise Terminal 3 at Port Canaveral, completed in June 2020, is the new home of Carnival's largest ship, Mardi Gras. The terminal is located at the North West Atlantic Ocean and is home to 19 decks, 6,500 passengers, and 181,000 tons. This package includes secure parking and direct shuttle service for up to six travelers to your Port Canaveral cruise terminal, ensuring a stress-free start to your vacation. Port Canaveral has seven cruise terminals currently in operation, each designed to accommodate various cruise lines and ship sizes: Cruise Terminal 1 (CT1) – Primarily used by Royal Caribbean International. Cruise Terminal 3 (CT3) – The newest terminal, built for Carnival Cruise Line’s Mardi Gras and other large ships. On June 4 th, Mardi Gras met her homeport for the first time which would be the awesome Port Canaveral, of course. So maybe you should meet it too! So maybe you should meet it too! Port Canaveral is a great place to kick off a cruise from, especially with the beautiful, brand-new cruise terminal we built specifically to be Mardi Gras’ home. On Mardi Gras 5/28 we had 10:30-11am check in time and Boarding group B01. We arrived at terminal at 9:50. Waited in traffic 10 minutes to pull in to garage. Dropped luggage and parked. Waited until 10:15 to walk in to terminal. We were allowed in and immediately checked-in using Verifly(which worked perfectly). We then sat in the waiting area. We were on Mardi Gras 12/11 and 3/12 and boarding was a very easy process both times, very organized. In December we arrived a few minutes after 11:00 am and waited in a short line to check in. Once checked in, we went through security and pretty much walked right on the ship at 11:35. Sailed out of the terminal twice in April (Liberty uses the same terminal). Check-in times were 11:30-12 (Mardi Gras) & 10-10:30 (Liberty). For Mardi Gras, we were running behind & didn't arrive to the parking garage until about 11:40. Long line at check-in but it moved fast & we were onboard in no time. For Liberty, we arrived at about 9am. No results found. Suggestions: Make sure all words are spelled correctly; Use different words that mean the same thing U.S Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requires Carnival Cruise Line to submit a final departure manifest with specific guest information at least 60 minutes prior to departure. All guests are required to provide us with check-in information by completing their Online Check-in and selecting their Arrival Appointment no later than midnight This was our experience boarding the Carnival Mardi Gras in Port Canaveral. We were in a suite so had "priority" embarkation. Priority guests will be given access to Online Check-in to select their terminal arrival appointments 48 hours ahead of all other guests. When completing Online Check-in, guests must select a terminal arrival appointment that works best with their plans. For a better embarkation experience, guests are asked to adhere to that arrival time. 😂 What was happening then isn't the way it is now but we've been on Mardi Gras 5 times and each time was a little different. There is a priority line as well as a priority waiting area. Last month on Mardi Gras we had a 10:00 - 10:30 arrival time. We had a glitch at home that morning and didn't arrive at the port until around 11:30. Welcome to Day1 - Carnival Mardi Gras port & boarding process.
