Guests should arrive promptly within their Arrival Appointment to reduce wait time in line. At check-in, guests must present their boarding pass, picture ID and citizenship documents (including any necessary visas). Due to security protocol, last minute bookings made within 24 hours of sailing will require guests to undergo a secondary screening. On Mardi Gras 5/28 we had 10:30-11am check in time and Boarding group B01. We arrived at terminal at 9:50. Waited in traffic 10 minutes to pull in to garage. Dropped luggage and parked. Waited until 10:15 to walk in to terminal. We were allowed in and immediately checked-in using Verifly(which worked perfectly). We then sat in the waiting area. Carnival Mardi Gras had a slight embarkation change. The ship has changed its embarkation time, moving it up from 4pm to 3:30pm. This revised departure time notice impacted many different sailings through 2027 as showed at the bottom of this notice. The Travel Scouts revealed, "Carnival Cruise Line has altered the embarkation date departure times for more than 400 sailings.
