At Camp Ocean kids will have a blast in supervised, age-based groups and give each a cool marine-life label: Penguins (2 to 5 years), Stingrays (6 to 8 years) and Sharks (9 to 11 years). Carnival's Youth Programs are year-round, fleet wide programs that provide daily fun filled and age appropriate activities for children and teenagers between the ages of 6 months to 17 years. They loved the slides and sports deck and enjoyed the kids clubs. Sure, there was no flow rider or rock climbing wall, but they enjoyed riding bolt and the ropes course. We pulled several options between RC and Carnival and where they say kids are free On RC, they make up for it in room cost, fees etc. we just did our first RC cruise a couple weeks ago (we've always sailed Carnival) and we actually only booked 4 of the 6 of us and put our other two kids on the in-laws room to make it work room count wise and it still cost us more for only 2 adults Carnival’s policy is to group children together according to their age. The age is determined according to the child’s birth date. There is no sign in/out policy for Teens Ages 15-17. They are free to come and go as they choose for activities
