Carnival Celebration, Carnival Jubilee and Mardi Gras do not have washers and dryers but have ironing rooms on several stateroom decks as well as Valet Laundry service. Carnival Firenze, Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Venezia do not have washers, dryers nor ironing rooms but do offer Valet Laundry service. I have only ever used the ironing facilities, but if I ever took a longer cruise (say 14 day journeys) I'm not sure I would trust my laundry to the onboard services - I have read too many reviews of stuff coming back faded, shrunk, or just ruined. Carnival Mardi Gras decks with passenger cabins have a total of 175 Suites, 1467 Balconies, 222 Oceanviews, 777 Inside cabins, Self Service Laundromats (passenger use launderettes). Laundry facilities are at extra-charge - $3,25 (per washer or dryer load) and $1,5 per box (detergent/water softener, dispensed from the vending machine in the room). We always travel carry-on only, even for 2-3 week trips abroad, and do our own laundry while on vacation. We are a family of four (with twin 15 year old girls) so we generate a decent amount of laundry. However, on Carnival Mardi Gras and Carnival, guests can use washers and dryers on multiple stateroom decks. Carnival Luminosa and Carnival Venezia do not have washers, dryers, or ironing rooms but do offer Valet Laundry service. Carnival Spirit-class ships (Spirit, Legend, or Pride) have access to five launderettes for use throughout the ship. So go ahead and enjoy the Carnival and Mardi Gras celebrations without worrying about getting your clothes dirty. There are plenty of laundry rooms available to keep you looking your best. The sauna is open from 6:30 to 12 a.m. on all cabin decks. Yep. Celebration, Jubilee, and Mardi Gras don't have laundry rooms. Your stateroom steward is your hookup for valet laundry service at $15 / bag. Guess we'll have to pass on anything over 7 days on these ships. (At least until we make Diamond!!!) Whoo!!
