Of the many new features found on Carnival Cruise Line's new Mardi Gras, one that has left people with many questions is the Loft 19 area. The price to rent week-long access to a Loft 19 Loft 19. You don’t need to choose between a vacation that’s fun and one that’s indulgent. Loft 19™ is proof: a retreat-style experience right there on your cruise. Soak up the sun all day from the comfort of a lounge chair or Loft 19’s own infinity whirlpool, or opt for private time in the shade by renting a cabana. Fast forward and we’ve discovered our love for this new class and have since sailed on Mardi Gras multiple times, Carnival Celebration multiple times, and even tried our hand at an inaugural sailing on the Carnival Jubilee! In all of our tours and walks. We’ve only been able to get a quick tease of the exclusive Loft 19 area. Excel suites have priority reservations to the Loft 19 Cabanas. There are only twelve Loft 19 Cabanas and they are not free. They only get priority to book one of the twelve cabanas at the posted prices, $50/$150/$900. Non-Excel Suites pax can only book a cabana and gain access to Loft 19 if any of the twelve Cabanas are available, which will Loft 19 appeared online as an option for my cruise a couple of days ago. Out of 12 cabanas, 4 are taken. The remaining 8 are on sale for the low price of $2,000, but so far no takers. Maybe I will call them and offer to take one off their hands for $50. But seriously, will they just keep these at "Loft 19. A special place and your slice of paradise. Wow. LOFT 19 Good afternoon everyone To everyone in the amazing Carnival Excel Suites on Mardi Gras, I just received word from the beards that you can now pre-book a cabana in the exclusive Loft 19 for the entire duration of your cruise. Will be on the Carnival Mardi Gras soon and wanted to see if the Loft 19 Cabana is worth the price. It’s a 7-day cruise and costs $2,000 to cover the whole time. I did confirm the ship is fully booked so my family (5 people) was debating if is worth the price to have a separate place to gather. Thank you all in advance! The loft 19 area is nice. The cabana guests are well taken care of by the loft 19 staff. There are 2 hot tubs that overlook Serenity area.
