Azeem June 18-25 Carnival Cruise Line is known for its outstanding Punchliner Comedy Club and is incredibly popular on Mardi Gras. The ship features both family-friendly and adult-only shows. On the Mardi Gras (and I assume celebration as well), they have adult comedy in the punchliner and pg comedy in the limelight. Frequently there would be a late night comedy showcase in the theater as well. On my 7-day Mardi Gras cruise last year we had 6 comedians. Gentlemen: dress pants, jeans, elegant shorts, polo shirts; Ladies: casual dresses, skirts or trousers and blouses, summer dresses, capris, elegant shorts, jeans. The smallest Carnival ship (in terms of length) measures 855 feet (261 meters) from end to end. The longest vessel spans 1,130 feet (344 meters). For a laugh: Punchliner Comedy Club shows always draw crowds on Carnival, and it's no exception on Mardi Gras. Lines begin at least 30 minutes early. Lines begin at least 30 minutes early. The reason my husband and I choose Carnival the majority of the time is because Carnival does the best when it comes to comedy shows. Now we see that Mardi Gras is the best of the best. They announced that there were 60 comedy shows during our sailing. Since the comedians do repeat shows, that means there were about 30 different shows to watch. From 1130 pm to 100 am on a daily basis there was a mini buffet available on the Mardi Gras this past week. Mac n cheese with pulled pork, two sandwich choices and fruit and cookies were available. Also, Quest has returned as "Adult Game Night". Was held in the Punchliner Lounge this past week and scheduled again for later this week.
