Guests must be at least 54 inches tall and weigh less than 250 pounds to ride. Carnival says that workout attire is required and that swimwear and backless shoes (like sandals or flip-flops) are prohibited. Guests will have to empty their pockets before riding, but Carnival has cubbies next to the attraction to hold any belongings. Both Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration feature the ride, and the track length, layout, speed, and duration of the ride is the same on both vessels. And then there's the Atrium Created by a roller coaster designer in Munich, Bolt: The Ultimate Sea Coaster debuted in July 2021 on Mardi Gras, the first of Carnival's Excel-class ships. The SkyRide is a pedal-type bike that takes you around above the upper deck Sky Zone. You know cruises are great for disconnecting. There’s a place in our heart for heroes and now there’s a spot to salute them! Spend a bit of vacation time raising a glass to the Armed Services personnel and their families at the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge. Both ships are nice although the Mardi Gras being a good bit larger has more entertainment, more bars, more food options, and larger crowds. I would consider the features of both ships as one point of consideration. The Bolt roller-coaster on Madi Gras might be of interest. Vista has a human pedal powered Sky Ride.
