Carnival Mardi Gras Dry Dock. First Dry Dock . The Mardi Gras, a new ship in Carnival Cruise Line’s fleet, is set for its first dry-dock in 2025. This will be the ship’s inaugural maintenance period since it began service in 2021. Upcoming Dry Dock . The dry-dock is planned for 28 September 2025 to 15 October 2025. Key Changes to Mardi Gras Arrival Times. Carnival has confirmed that all 2026 Mardi Gras cruises, along with many scheduled for 2025, will now conclude at Port Canaveral at 8:00 AM instead of the previously planned 7:00 AM. Affected 2025 cruises include those departing between January 1 and September 7, as well as sailings set to take place I just got the email from Carnival. They want to upgrade us to the Excel Suite!!! 500.00 more for the 3 of us I took it! It looks like alot of cancelations are happening, I asked Michael at Carnival and he said the Mardi Gras 1/22 sailing is at 50% capacity. We had a balcony room on Mardi Gras, but in my opinion it wasn't worth it. I spent maybe 10 minutes the entire time there. The reason I wasn't on the balcony is it was small and the chairs were not comfortable. Free upgrade! Book an eligible stateroom on any qualifying sailing and receive a free upgrade!
