On these ships the Havana area is aft with a pool, 2 hot tubs and a bar. On the Mardi Gras deck plans shows the Havana area is forward and just 1 pool, no hot tubs and a small bar. Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras are the ships with the best collection of water slides, including Blue Lightning (312 feet), Orange Thunder (229 feet) and Carnival Twister (265 feet). The best individual waterslide is Kaleid-O-Slide (445 feet) on Carnival Panorama. We've cruised on the Panorama and have a cruise booked in August on the Mardi Gras. Between the two, I would choose the Mardi Gras. Based on the pictures, the atrium area and theater on the Mardi Gras look so much better. Plus, there seems to be a lot more options on the Mardi Gras.
