On Mardi Gras Day, Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday, Le Vieux Mardi Gras de Eunice holds a traditional Courier de Mardi Gras. Costumed participants ride on horseback and flatbeds through the countryside. We are now accepting applications for those who would be interested in being a food vendor for our 2025 Eunice Mardi Gras Festival, February 28 - March 4, 2025. Kids get in on the Mardi Gras fun too in Eunice, Louisiana. In fact, the Eunice Lil’ Mardi Gras is a Courir de Mardi Gras and chicken chase just for kids.
