The Krewe of Folsom begins at Magnolia Park on the corner of Olive Street and Garfield Street. The parade goes north down Olive Street for 2 blocks, then takes a right to go down Cleveland Street. After two more blocks, the krewe turns right down Orange Street (highway 25). This eclectic krewe rolls each year through the Village of Folsom on Mardi Gras Day with decorative floats, vehicles, four wheelers, horses, horse-drawn wagons and more. Starts at Railroad Avenue and ends at Highway 40. The public is invited to participate. Those who wish to join the parade should contact Greg Saurage at gregsaurage@email.com or (985) 705-5780. Krewe of Folsom (2 p.m. Folsom) Sunday Krewe of Folsom will roll in Folsom on Tuesday, March 4, at 2 p.m. Mardi Paws will roll in Covington on Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m. Krewe du Pooch will roll in Mandeville on Saturday, March 15, at On South Taylor Street, the parade will turn towards the northeast and proceed until it reaches at West 23rd Avenue. On W 23rd Ave., the parade will turn southeast and venture back down to North Jefferson Avenue.
