The Krewe of Omega promises an unforgettable evening filled with festive throws, lively entertainment, and the joy of Mardi Gras traditions. The parade route will wind through downtown Hammond, offering prime viewing spots for families and revelers looking to catch beads and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. The parade features over 20 floats (10 of which are produced by Cantrell Floats), flambeaux, local marching bands, and dance teams. Krewe members will toss signature stuffed, hand decorated alligators, also known as Aligraw, along with beads and other Mardi Gras trinkets. Along the parade route local businesses sponsor Hot Spots.
