Antonia Boregman was a contestant on Season 8 of Hell's Kitchen. She ranked in 16th place. Main article: Episode 801 - 16 Chefs Compete When Antonia arrived at Hell's Kitchen with the other chefs, she was excited to be there. After James introduced himself, all the chefs put blindfolds on, and were taken to the prize restaurant, the LA Market, in Los Angeles. Then, they returned to Hell's The first episode of Season 8 of Hell's Kitchen aired on Fox, on September 22, 2010, airing as a double feature alongside the second episode. On that episode, the sixteen new chefs were introduced, one of them was forced to leave before service would begin, and the opening service became one of the worst starts in the show's history. The season began with the narrator describing how Depending on the ingredients, she likely had a few issues. If it's a gumbo with a catfish, she likely didn't clean the fish in time to get rid of the muddy taste. Also, since Antonia rarely had time to taste anything she was throwing a lot of caution to the wind flavor-wise. Another possible issue is also based in the seasoning. The remaining dishes were poorly received; Nona's honey fried chicken was spat out as it was too sweet and her asparagus was undercooked, and Antonia's Mardi Gras gumbo made Ramsay physically ill and vomit twice, and Ramsay had the rest of the chefs taste it.
