Guests may choose from three different dinner seating options. By popular request, all dining rooms are smoke-free. Assigned Seating - Early Dining and Late Dining This dining option offers guests a pre-set dining time for the duration of the cruise as well as the same table assignment each evening in the Main Dining Room. On Mardi Gras last year, the dining room opened 30 minutes earlier (5:00) on the first elegant night than the other six nights. Also, on Mardi Gras with YTD you have the option to dine in the dining room, Cucina del Capitano, Chibang, and Pig and Anchor. For Pig and Anchor you just show up, but you check in on the app for the others. Cucina del Capitano, ChiBang, and Guy's Pig and Anchor Smokehouse are all included dining venues, and anytime dining allows wider access to the first two - those with anytime dining can request a table at Cucina and ChiBang at any time during dinner service, while those with assigned dining (early or late) are restricted from requesting a table until I believe 8pm or around there. Main Dining Rooms: Palm & Flamingo Restaurants. At the heart of the Mardi Gras dining experience are the Palm and Flamingo Restaurants, offering a sophisticated atmosphere for breakfast, brunch, and dinner. I also had an issue where it didn't ask for my preferred dining time when I booked my Mardi Gras cruise. Maitre D allowed us to switch to early no problem. The Mardi Gras is superb. I think Lee (cruise director) may not be on there anymore, but he was the best one I've ever had. Have fun!
