In fact, the 2023 Universal Mardi Gras Celebration paved the way for a new Tribute Store location. Previously located in New York, this season’s shop can be found in the star-studded Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida. The Tribute Store now alternates between these two spots. This family friendly event is included with your theme park ticket or annual pass (though passholder blockout dates apply). Universal’s Mardi Gras is an international celebration of carnival, with a focus on New Orleans’ famous Mardi Gras. The party started in 1996 with a parade furnished by the New Orleans fabrication firm Kern Studios. Designed to bring in the locals during a quiet period, Mardi Gras expanded with bigger musical acts and a longer season. Since 1995, Universal Orlando Resort has been bringing the fun and flavors of the Big Easy’s Mardi Gras celebration to the streets of Universal Studios Florida.For select nights from February to April, you can catch an outrageous and colorful parade (my favorite part of the event), enjoy live entertainment and concerts, indulge in food and drinks from around the world, and catch a whole lot The concerts are held at Universal Studios Florida’s Music Plaza stage, near the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster toward the front of the park.
