When parking, make sure you pay attention to posted signs. What’s more, do not block hydrants, driveways, sidewalks, or fire lanes, and do not park on a neutral ground (median) or within 20 feet of a crosswalk, intersection, or stop sign. There is a parking lot at Mardi Gras World (Lot J), but it’s $20 to park. So you’re better of using the shuttle or getting there some other way. You won’t find much street parking in the immediate vicinity. Mardi Gras parking reminders. Pay close attention to posted signs. Do not block or park within 15 feet fire hydrants, block or park within 3 feet of driveways, block sidewalks, or park in fire lanes. Do not park in bike lanes.
