Mardi Gras is back at Universal Studios Florida and is packed with fun, food, and entertainment for its 30th anniversary. This popular event is included with park admission and celebrates the international flavors of Carnival with food, music, parades, and a lot of beads. Mardi Gras. Becoming part of Universal’s nightly entertainment though isn’t easy and it’s a VERY popular offering if you don’t already know about it. Universal’s Mardi Gras parade gives park visitors and annual passholders the opportunity to actually ride in the parade and throw out beads to those waiting in the streets and sidewalks This season’s Mardi Gras Tribute Store offers an unforgettable shopping experience—one that’s worth exploring, even if you’re just passing through! Mardi Gras 2025 Merchandise. While beads are the traditional Mardi Gras garb, Universal has a plethora of options to join in the celebration, from apparel to drinkware. Purchasing the Mardi Gras Float and Dine experience does NOT include admission to Universal Studios Florida. A Separate park ticket for the same date is required. Mardi Gras Parade Float Riders must be 18+ or accompanied by their legal guardian. From February 1 through March 30, guests will let the good times roll as they experience an authentic, family-friendly version of the Mardi Gras bash at Universal Studios Florida. The event will be held over 60+ nights – with the food booths open and the parade taking place every night. Mardi Gra Universal's Mardi Gras has ties to New Orleans. Universal's Mardi Gras celebration doesn't just pull inspiration from New Orleans. It actually has close ties to New Orleans that appear in various parts of the event. Beignets are a classic New Orleans dessert, so you gotta try them at a Mardi Gras event for sure, and trust us, they’re worth it. These beignets were fantastic. They were well powdered and so light and fluffy. We thought they could have used a dip, but they were great on their own. Beignet Is It Worth Visiting Universal Orlando during Mardi Gras. Yes!!! Thats 1 HHN trip and 1 Mardi Gras trip for us. Any additional trips like a random summer trip and/or holiday trip are completely free. The passes make spur of the trips much easier to do and justify.
