Annual parades in St. John the Baptist Parish are set to roll this weekend before Mardi Gras as tradition holds. The Towahpahsah Parade will begin at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024, and the Krewe of Dage’ Parade will begin at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, February 11, 2024, and will both follow their traditional routes in Reserve and LaPlace. The Towahpahsah Parade starts at noon on Mar. 1, 2025, followed by the Krewe of Agape/Krewe of Dage Parade at 11:00 a.m. on Mar. 2, 2025. Both parades will traverse traditional routes through Reserve and LaPlace, upholding cherished community traditions. The routes for the 2025 Towahpahsah Parade have changed slightly from those in 2024.
