The 2025 Mardi Gras season in St. John the Baptist Parish will feature vibrant parades from the Krewe of Towahpahsah, Krewe of Dage', and Krewe of Agape. The festivities begin with the Krewe of Towahpahsah Parade rolling at noon on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in Reserve. On Sunday, March 2, 2025, the Krewe of Dage' Parade will start at 11:00 a.m. in LaPlace, immediately followed by the Krewe of Agape The Towahpahsah Parade starts at noon on Mar. 1, 2025, followed by the Krewe of Agape/Krewe of Dage Parade at 11:00 a.m. on Mar. 2, 2025. Both parades will traverse traditional routes through Reserve and LaPlace, upholding cherished community traditions. The routes for the 2025 Towahpahsah Parade have changed slightly from those in 2024. Annual parades in St. John the Baptist Parish are set to roll this weekend before Mardi Gras as tradition holds.
