Courir de Mardi Gras, Eunice, LA Every year down in St. Landry Parish the Courir de Mardi Gras happens in one of the most unique, authentic display of the tradition in the state. It is a true Cajun tradition that is a Fat Tuesday Run though the celebrations often start on Lundi Gras. Mardi Gras in Lebeau is a lot like other rural celebrations across St. Landry Parish with a few distinguishing qualities. At 1pm, the parade starts marching down Hwy 10 with a procession of cars, trucks, and floats. You know you’re in Lebeau when horses, 4-wheelers, side by sides, golf carts, and more festive vehicles and equines pass by as well. What sets Lebeau’s Mardi Gras run apart The Rayne Mardi Gras Parade and Gumbo Cook-Off is set for February 15, 2025 with the parade beginning at 2 p.m. and the cook-off to follow. The parade will travel its normal route in Rayne, LA down the Boulevard. Lineup will start on American Legion drive and the parade will end at the Rayne Civic Center. There will be food The Twin Cities’ Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras parade will celebrate its 42nd year of Mardi Gras tradition and flavor in the Twin Cities in 2025. The Twin Cities' Krewe of Janus Parade has entertained revelers since 1984 who eagerly gather along the 3.8-mile route through West Monroe and Monroe.
