Final date for resigning from the University Mardi Gras Mambo is similar to Fall Fest in that it is a event that brings together the LSU community on Tower Drive to celebrate a holiday deeply rooted in Louisiana Culture. As the world begins to come back together after years of social distancing, quarantine, and uncertainty, the English Graduate Student Association’s 32nd Annual Mardi Gras Conference at Louisiana State University will be considering the relationship between environments and communities. Due to the continued presence of Covid, our conference this year will be conducted in a hybrid format. Our Mardi Gras is fast approaching, and we are celebrating on campus! Join us on Tuesday, February 6 for Mardi Gras Mambo! We are teaming up with LSU Dining to bring you a joyful event. The Mardi Gras Indian Show and a brass band will help us kick off the Campus Life Second Line on Tower Drive. Louisiana food, music, beads, and fun! . . . . We hope to see you for some good competition and Mardi The Tigers take on Tennessee on Tuesday, February 25, at 8 p.m. CT, and the first 1,000 students in attendance will receive a special-edition Mardi Gras jersey to celebrate the occasion. The exclusive jerseys are a blend of LSU’s classic purple and gold with Mardi Gras’ signature purple and green, creating a one-of-a-kind look.
