He's got some "tough love" for residents, as well. It is officially Mardi Gras Season in the city of Youngsville! Today the city of Youngsville kicked off the 2024 Mardi Gras Season with the Annual Flag Raising Ceremony! We celebrated with our Youngsville Mardi Gras Krewes, Krewe des Amis and Krewe La Vie Doux. Congratulations Krewe des Amis King & Queen Chad Pellerin & Lindsay Pellerin. They will be repositioned on Thursday, February 27, 2025, and remain in place until the final parade on Mardi Gras Day, Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Streets along and around the parade route will be closed one hour before each parade begins. Citizens should avoid these areas to minimize traffic congestion.
