This ship is grand and unique in so many ways including its six different zones you can explore onboard. The six zones are Grand Central, French Quarter, Summer Landing, La Piazza, Lido and the Ultimate Playground. Located in the La Piazza zone on Carnival Mardi Gras, Pizzeria del Capitano serves fantastic freshly-made pizza 20 hours a day. (Note: The pizza place was open 24 hours per day until the decision Mardi Gras would have six distinct 'zones': Grand Central, The French Quarter, La Piazza, Summer Landing, Lido and The Ultimate Playground. We were in A20, so we had maybe a 1/2 hour wait past our check in time before we were able to walk onto the ship. So here’s a brand-new ship with a familiar name.
