Cloud 9 Spa Interior 4T cabins: When I looked for info on the spa itself, I found an amazing video tour of the spa on the carnival breeze, which would definitely be worth the upgraded room, however I can’t really find anything on the Mardi Gras spa, and the deck plan tour makes it look rather underwhelming.. It looks like I come across something new every time I look at the Mardi Gras deck plans. Very handy that there's a Spa Elevator that goes direct from deck 17 to deck 5 (Spa). Even more reason to see what the spa has to offer - since they're making it so convenient ! OK, I might just go ahead and bite the bullet and try the couples massage again. We booked a spa cove on deck 5. On Dream, Magic and Breeze, with great spasms, the convenience of an upper deck spa cabin was a plus. The smaller spa on the Vista and Horizon weren't worth it, IOO. We also thought the offerings of upper deck spa cabins on the Mardi Gras, would not be as convenient either. Carnival has taken the warm essence of the Cloud 9 Spas and infused it into spa staterooms on Mardi Gras. Your room is the perfect place to do less, actually: just relax and take some you-time, anytime. You would never have to go far to find a quiet lounge chair, the pool on the Havana deck was hardly used (we could have had it all to ourselves most of the time). I would probably say I would dislike the idea of the spa being on level 5 and having to take an elevator to it. I thoroughly enjoyed the Spa room on the Vista. Quick access to the spa from the room. Great to check out in the morning and at times in the evening before going to dinner.
