Oz Queer Hags Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras acknowledges that our The tradition of floats at Sydney Mardi Gras is as vibrant as the history of the festival itself. Each year, they morph from mere concepts into dazzling displays of artistry, championing the voices and visions of the LGBTQIA+ community. Behind every float is a story of triumph, unity, and the pursuit of equality. Champion Olympic swimmer and all-round Aussie icon Ian Thorpe is a little nervous. Optus also have a range of social impact programs which are aimed at increasing digital inclusion and supporting education and employability for disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.
