This festive celebration captures the spirit of Mardi Gras with a unique coastal twist, drawing both locals and visitors to join in the fun. Participating floats will stage at the Casino Beach parking lot Pensacola Mardi Gras has two parades downtown. The Krewe of Lafitte Illuminated Parade takes place Friday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. and the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade is Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. The Krewe of Wrecks will host the Pensacola Beach Mardi Gras Parade at 2 p.m. on March 2, 2025. The parade route runs along Via de Luna from Avenida 10 to the Gulfside Pavilion and Casino Beach Parking Lot. Come early, parking fills up fast. There will be a post parade party and awards ceremony at the Gulfside Pavilion after the parade. Downtown Pensacola boasts two Mardi Gras Parades, the Illuminated Parade on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. and the Grand Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday at 2 p.m. Fun tip: If you love the Mardi Gras floats, head to Spring street early to get a closer look!
