The Dauphin Island parade rolled Saturday, bringing a parade of classic cars, floats, boats Mardi Gras is sort of a moveable feast, and we’re in for a couple of big swings. For 2025, Fat Tuesday falls on March 4, three weeks later than 2024’s Feb. 13 date. How much of a difference does that make? Quite a bit. In 2024, the region’s first major parade, the Krewe de la Dauphine, rolled on Dauphin Island on Jan. 13.
