Mardi Gras in Little Rock is celebrated by two major community events, both with a flair inspired by Arkansas’s neighbors to the south. Little Rock’s annual Mardi Gras events make a perfect highlight of any early-spring visit to the city. SoMardi Gras x Little Rock Marathon VIP Pre-Party Friday, February 28, 2025 6 – 9 p.m. Location: Rock Town Distillery Drinks, Cajun Buffet, Arkansas Circus Arts & Live Music by Butterfly from New Orleans* SoMardi Gras returns to SoMa on March 1, 2025! Enjoy a disco-themed parade, live music, local drinks, and family-friendly fun—all for free. The festivities run from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the parade rolling at noon. Get ready to groove, Little Rock! The 15th SoMardi Gras Parade, Street Festival, and Beard Contest, presented by Rock Town Distillery, is set to transform the streets of SoMa into a disco fever dream on Saturday, March 1, 2025. The festivities will run from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with Barkus on Main is Little Rock’s largest Mardi Gras dog event of the year! The Mardi Gras dog parade will feature entertainment for both two and four-legged attendees, a beer garden, a hurricane station, gumbo, crawfish boil, plenty of beads, and local vendors showcasing products that are bound to make you and your woof drool! A SoMardi Gras pre-party is set for 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, at Rock Town Distillery. This VIP event offers drinks, a Cajun buffet, disco ball dancers and more.
