The parade begins at Busch Stadium at 11am and runs south on Broadway through Soulard to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Over 10,000,000 strands of beads will be thrown from nearly 100 floats along the parade route. Welcome to Soulard Mardi Gras! This event is the crown jewel of the Soulard Mardi Gras season and the biggest parade outside of the Big Easy Granite City Mardi Gras Parade. The Granite City Mardi Gras event begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 1 at 29th & State Street. Organizers say it will “bring Bourbon Street to you!” Enjoy live music, kids activities and shop local vendors. The Parade is followed by an after party in Civic Park at 2 p.m. Cocktail Carnival. Mardi Gras The Soulard Mardi Gras in St. Louis is one of the largest and most vibrant Mardi Gras celebrations in the United States, second only to New Orleans.
