The parade kicks off at 2:00 PM, RAIN OR SHINE. Downtown Pensacola boasts two Mardi Gras Parades, the Illuminated Parade on Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. and the Grand Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday at 2 p.m. Fun tip: If you love the Mardi Gras floats, head to Spring street early to get a closer look! The street is closed, but be mindful that floats are being pulled in and out, so be on the 2 Mar 2025 Krewe of Wrecks Parade, Avenida 11 to the Gulfside Pavilion 3/2/2025 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Krewe of Wrecks Mardi Gras Parade, 2 p.m. Avenida 10, along Via de Luna, to Gulfside Pavilion. Come early, parking fills up fast. At 5:00 p.m., Mardi Gras Krewes will come together for a celebration with live entertainment throughout the complex. At 7:00 p.m., Danny Zimmern, President of Pensacola Mardi Gras, will present awards for the 2024 Mardi Gras season, and will end with the coronation ceremony of the new King & Queen Priscus for Mardi Gras 2025. The 2025 Krewe of Lafitte Illuminated Mardi Gras Parade will be Friday, February 28, 2025 at 7:30 P.M. This night parade kicks off a full weekend of Mardi Gras revelry. Float staging will be on Spring Street with the parade following the approved route through downtown Pensacola starting on Garden Street.
