The Mardi Gras main event, the Grand Parade, starts at 11 a.m. Here's everything you need to know if you are heading to The Soulard Mardi Gras in St. Louis is one of the largest and most vibrant Mardi Gras celebrations in the United States, second only to New Orleans. The Mayor’s Mardi Gras Ball will take place Friday, Feb. 28, at Anheuser-Busch Tour Center beginning at 7 p.m. Guests can enjoy fine cuisine, cocktails, dancing, and entertainment by artists including St. Louis legend Murphy Lee.
