The ship’s fully equipped gym offers everything from exercise machines to free weights for guests who want to work out. Fitness enthusiasts can take part in a variety of classes, including yoga, Pilates, and cycling. The Fitness Center on your Carnival ship offers guests a convenient and enjoyable way to maintain their fitness routine while on vacation. With a variety of state-of-the-art equipment and fitness classes available, guests can continue to focus on their health and well-being while enjoying all the amenities of the ship. The Thermal suite, which costs extra, has two steam rooms and an infrared sauna salt room. It's located in the cloud nine spa on deck 5 but accessed through the Cloud9 main entrance on deck 6,across from the Fitness center (there's also a hidden elevator from Deck 17,where there are Spa cabins,right to Deck 5 outside of the Thermal suite entrance). The Cloud 9 gym is located on deck 6 forward. It has spin and step classes as well as weights, treadmills, bikes, rowers etc. The smallest Carnival ship (in terms of length) measures 855 feet (261 meters) from end to end. With Carnival Pride, I was impressed with the showers in the gym. You get overhead spray, and two sprays each on the left and right of your body. It SURE beats the shower in the stateroom.
