The little ones can enjoy the best parts of summer camp, year-round aboard their Carnival cruise. At Camp Ocean kids will have a blast in supervised, age-based groups and give each a cool marine-life label: Penguins (2 to 5 years), Stingrays (6 to 8 years) and Sharks (9 to 11 years). Carnival's Youth Programs are year-round, fleet wide programs that provide daily fun filled and age appropriate activities for children and teenagers between the ages of 6 months to 17 years. In addition, there is supervised ‘free play’ and Night Owls ™ services for those children 11 years and under. Camp Ocean's schedule on sea days runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. On port days, activities start from the time the ship arrives in port until 10 p.m., with a break from noon to 1 p.m. for a supervised lunch at the buffet. Mardi Gras Carnival Carnival Youth Programs are open for children and teens ages 6 months to 17 years. All youth must be registered to participate; registration should be completed pre-cruise. During some cruises, capacity may be limited. Club O2 ® is a program offered for teens ages 15-17. Circle “C ”® is a program offered for young teens ages 12-14. Night Owls is a program offered on Carnival cruises for kids aged 11 and under. For a nominal fee, kids can participate in Night Owls activities until as late as 1 a.m. The program provides a supervised and fun-filled environment for kids to enjoy music, activities, games, and giveaways at late-night parties. Formerly Camp Carnival, Camp Ocean is the kids' club for 2- to 11-year-olds on Carnival cruise ships. might take place, with themes such as a Mardi Gras party or a Beach Bash. Mardi Gras is carnival's latest and greatest so your fine in that department, but If you have the opportunity to sail on an Oasis class for the same cost then I would do that. Additionally, on select nights themed parties such as “Mardi Gras” and “Beach Bash” are held which do incur an additional $17 per child if they would like to participate. Circle C (Ages 12 For parents and kids alike, Carnival's Camp Ocean may as well be paradise. Cruising is without a doubt a great way to vacation for the entire family. Whether you are 8 or 80, there is always something for you to do. But that doesn't mean a family traveling together always wants to spend every moment together. There may be family programming offered in between 4:00pm-6:00pm (time/activity may vary) To be perfectly honest, the kids club is the main reason our kids choose cruising over the likes of Disneyland, Sea World, San Diego etc etc. I't may be more of the fact that it's an organized social opportunity, rather than the actual activities per sey, as they do spend a lot of time outside of the kids club but it's always socializing with kids they've met at the kids club.
