The Serenity area on the Mardi Gras is great, although it's often windy, like all forward-located Serenity areas. Gotta say I loved the Serenity area on the Imagination (may she r.i.p.), since on the Fantasy-class ships it's in the back, serene and out of the wind. There's typically outdoor smoking in 2 spots on certain decks on both sides of the ship. The side nearest to the fueling area is closed during embarkation/fueling. The other side is typically open for smoking during this time.
