First completed in June 2020, Cruise Terminal 3 (also known as CT3) at Port Canaveral is the port’s newest addition, but it may be best known as the new home of Carnival’s newest — and largest — ship, Mardi Gras. On June 4 th, Mardi Gras met her homeport for the first time which would be the awesome Port Canaveral, of course. So maybe you should meet it too! So maybe you should meet it too! Port Canaveral is a great place to kick off a cruise from, especially with the beautiful, brand-new cruise terminal we built specifically to be Mardi Gras’ home. The Carnival Mardi Gras currently sails out of Port Canaveral’s CT3 (Cruise Terminal 3). Port Parking Space provides the closest and most convenient parking for CT3 with regular shuttle service for its parking customers. This package includes secure parking and direct shuttle service for up to six travelers to your Port Canaveral cruise terminal, ensuring a stress-free start to your vacation. If you're sailing on Carnival's Mardi Gras from Port Canaveral, then you're going to pass through CT3 (Cruise Terminal 3). The new terminal is 185,000 square Cruise Lines Terminals at Port Canaveral. Port Canaveral has seven cruise terminals currently in operation, each designed to accommodate various cruise lines and ship sizes: Cruise Terminal 1 (CT1) – Primarily used by Royal Caribbean International. Cruise Terminal 3 (CT3) – The newest terminal, built for Carnival Cruise Line’s Mardi Gras The terminal is a great place to kick off a cruise from, especially for Carnival Mardi Gras cruisers. Other cruise ships sailing out of Port Canaveral include Carnival Freedom, Carnival Vista, and Carnival Magic. To accommodate the Mardi Gras, Port Canaveral revamped Cruise Terminal 3 in 2018 to accommodate 19 decks, 6,500 passengers, and Everything about the Mardi Gras says “BIG fun“. In fact, to accommodate the Mardi Gras‘s 19 decks, 6,500 passengers, and 181,000 tons, Port Canaveral totally revamped Cruise Terminal 3 in 2018. Now, we’re proud to be the homeport for this awesome ship! The Mardi Gras has been making waves in cruising. Cruise Terminal 3 is the newest terminal at Port Canaveral to house Carnival Cruise Line’s largest ships — specifically Mardi Gras. Carnival Liberty and Glory also sail from this $163 million, 188,000 square foot terminal. Terminal 5 is home to some of Royal Caribbean’s mid-sized ships — currently Mariner and Adventure of the Seas. The Mardi Gras, Carnival’s flagship, departed on its maiden passenger voyage from Terminal 3 and continues to dock here on a regular basis. Plus, it’s just 2 miles from most of the Port No results found. The $163 million project received its certificate of occupancy on June 9, 2020. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is approximately 45 minutes west of Port Canaveral. Take the North Exit from the Airport, staying to the right, to S.R. 528 East (Toll Road). Take S.R. 528 east directly to Port Canaveral, Exit 54A for A Terminals (CT-5, -6, -8 and -10) or Exit 54B for B Terminals (CT-1 or CT-3).
