Mardi Gras in the Magic City will bring the energy and excitement of New Orleans to City Walk BHAM, featuring music, dancing, delicious food, and more. Come dressed in your best Mardi Gras attire for an unforgettable night of entertainment! Mardi Gras Food and Beverages at CityWalk. This year there are no Mardi Gras food and beverage booths exclusive to Universal CityWalk, but the restaurants are offering limited-time Mardi Gras dishes and beverages. If you are looking to grab some Universal Mardi Gras merchandise without heading into the parks, you are in luck! Mardi Gras Beads can be lightly tossed from the golf cart by passengers only. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded to the best-decorated golf cart. BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — City Walk BHAM announced that the Mardi Gras in the Magic City event has been postponed and rescheduled. The event originally scheduled for Jan. 24 has now been moved to March 2. The event will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Get ready for an exciting weekend at City Walk BHAM! Join us for Mardi Gras in the Magic City on Sunday, March 2, from 1-3 PM! Mardi Gras in the Magic City will bring the energy and excitement of New Orleans to City Walk BHAM, featuring music, dancing, delicious food, and more. Come dressed in your best Mardi Gras attire for an unforgettable night of entertainment! Mardi Gras has taken over the Red Coconut Club and transformed it into the Cursed Coconut Club. The themed nightclub & lounge features Mardi Gras decor, along with live music and specialty drinks. In addition, the Mardi Gras festivities extend to CityWalk with specially-themed food and drink offerings in several venues. It’s become a fan-favorite tradition—each season, Red Coconut Club at Universal CityWalk transforms into a must-visit hotspot. Known for its ever-changing themes during events like Halloween Horror Nights and the holidays, this venue is embracing the spirit of Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval. With a capacity of around 1,000 people based on the particular type of program and seating, that amphitheater is close to the City Walk Visitor’s Center and restroom facilities, the Central Block Fountain, and also features a raised area with visibility to the stage that can serve as a VIP area. Universal CityWalk, and Universal’s onsite hotels This fun spot is a pop-up New Orleans bar that leans into the occult. Located at the top of the escalators in CityWalk, the Cused Coconut Club is open daily from 5 pm till CityWalk closes. Mardi Gras at Universal’s Hotels. All of Universal’s on-site hotels feature their spins on traditional Mardi Gras fare. When the festivities end each night, guests can keep their feet dancing as the party moves to Universal CityWalk..
