The ship’s engine room was manufactured by NEPTUN WERFT in Rostock – another shipyard in the MEYER Group. Mardi Gras adds a touch of excitement to Carnival Cruise Line, featuring the first ever roller-coaster on the high seas. Adrenaline junkies are able to whizz around the ship at 40 mph – the course is 244 metres long. As the first in the Excel class and the largest in the fleet, Mardi Gras is more than just a ship; it's a floating entertainment paradise.
