The Krewe of Eve parade will begin at the intersection of Ashbury Drive and Highway 190 (Emerald Road) in Mandeville, Louisiana. The parade will head west on 190, merging with Highway 22 through town. The parade will turn southeast on the West Causeway Approach and follow the road all the way down to its intersection with North Causeway Boulevard. Krewe of Eve (7 p.m. Mandeville) Saturday All About Eve: In 1986, six local residents decided to form a ladies' Mardi Gras Parade Krewe. After many weeks of gathering information, they gave a party and invited local women. From this gathering, the Krewe of Eve started with 260 ladies. The Krewe of Eve first paraded in Mandeville on February 14, 1987, with their first theme, "Famous When is Mardi Gras 2025? This year, Mardi Gras, which translates from French to "Fat Tuesday," is on March 4. Ash Wednesday is on March 5, the day marking the start of the 40-day Lenten season Algiers Mardi Gras Parade and Festival. The Algiers Mardi Gras Parade and Festival will be back on Saturday, February 1 at New Orleans Federal City in Algiers. Entertainment will include Brass-A-Holics, Amanda Shaw, The U.S. Marine Reserve Jazz Band and more.
