South Fayette High School's Best Buddies Club will be hosting the annual Mardi Gras Dance on Friday, March 4th from 7-10pm in the SFHS Commons. There will be dancing, dinner, prizes, and a silent auction. This dance is for high school students and young adults with special needs as well as members of the Best Buddies from local school districts. Mardi Gras is a party full of pageantry, entertainment, royalty, and dancing. The first Mardi Gras was a thank you to students for their help in running a successful raffle, but in addition to the tradition of Mardi Gras, the Sisters of Saint Joseph also established a legacy of service in our school. This dance has been a tradition o The Mardi Gras dance is an experience unique to McNicholas High School. This tradition is one of the students’ favorites to celebrate. The event combines a ceremony to celebrate the students who embody the McNicholas value and then a dance. Along with the festivites, the Mardi Gras Banner Competition showcases the themes of Mardi Gras. Thank you to the 138 attendees who went to Annual Damien Dinner Dance - MARDI GRAS GALA.
