My friend and I are gonna be at an upcoming festival. They had booked The Mardi Gras Hotel awhile ago since it was cheap and close proximity to the festival grounds. I personally have never been to Vegas so I don’t know much about the hotels. Does anyone have any opinions on this hotel? It is a popular motel for people in town for conventions but otherwise unremarkable and out of the way. They do have a decent bar/restaurant on premise that is one of few joints in Vegas that grill their wings. It is pretty good and reasonable price. I looked for the cheapest room and found one at Mardi Gras Hotel & Casino. I decided ehh it will do for a few hours of sleep. Nope, that place was a straight up dump, everything about that place was trash, worst night ever in Vegas. The Mardi Gras might make sense if you were attending an event at the Convention Center, but other than that it is has little to offer someone simply going to enjoy a few days in Vegas. The "casino" is a small room with a few slot machines. I booked a couple of nights in April using hotwire. I got Mardi Gras. I'm not picky. I have the following five nights at Paris. I've enjoyed all of the Las Vegas places that I've stayed so far (including Imperial Palace). I have since read a lot more reviews and .. Oh my! Strat hotel is even cheaper, and nicer!!! I'm going in for the rock and roll band playing at the Sphere. My final option is the Mardi Gras hotel, which is a 20 minute walk from the Sphere. Close, but it looks super dingy. Mardi Gras hotel near LVCC Looking for reasonable priced hotel within walking distance to Las Vegas Convention Center. Mardi Gras looks like it would check the boxes. Hotel Mazarin, would be my vote. I do not like to be on the other side of Canal during Mardi Gras. So much going on in the quarter. But that is just me. I do not like parades that much. Prefer people watching. But if you plan on watching parades mostly then Sheraton. Looking for the cheapest hotels or rooms in vegas for one night, including resort fees, if there are none, even better. Cheap as possible without being crazy ghetto, i woukd say motel 6 but even motel 6 charges around 70 a night. Because if it's downtown, the Fremont or the 4 Queens would make sense. If your concert is on the strip, then, depending where. Mardi Gras or the Orleans would make more sense. I just recently had two rooms at Mardi Gras. Neither room had bed bugs. Which unfortunately and frustratingly, Las Vegas has recently been dealing with outbreaks of bed Find the best prices on Mardi Gras Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and get detailed customer reviews, videos, photos and more at Vegas.com.
