The Twin Cities’ Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras parade will celebrate its 42nd year of Mardi Gras tradition and flavor in the Twin Cities in 2025. The Twin Cities' Krewe of Janus Parade has entertained revelers since 1984 who eagerly gather along the 3.8-mile route through West Monroe and Monroe. The Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere is a non-profit organization dedicated to the historical and traditional concepts of a Mardi Gras parade as an avenue for individual creative expression. The Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere encourages the local citizens, businesses, and neighboring communities to become involved in the activities as they contribute to the culture and heritage of Northeast Louisiana. While you’re in Monroe-West Monroe for these exciting parades, there's plenty of ways to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Mardi Gras traditions that define the community.
