Pensacola Mardi Gras (PMG) serves as the clearinghouse for all Mardi Gras events in Pensacola. PMG does not endorse, nor is it affiliated with, any specific Mardi Gras Krewe. The Krewes and individuals featured on our website participate in the community events that PMG organizes. Each Krewe operates independently and is its own entity. With the formation of our new Krewe, we wanted to embody the spirit of Pensacola’s historical past. We’ve taken time to work with various leaders throughout our community on how to best represent our unique culture. The Krewe of Warriors is proud to be celebrating our 36th year as a Pensacola Mardi Gras Krewe! The Warriors are a unique Krewe comprised of a co-ed group and changing our theme each year. Today KOW has a membership cap of 120 members and we are the only Krewe in Pensacola that welcomes our member's children/grandchildren to be a part of our Krewe Of Andres DePez the best Mardi Gras Krewe located in Pensacola Florida. Greater than Deluna and even Lafitte, DePez came for all with his Windward Fleet. Signature Mardi Gras events include the Krewe of Lafitte Illuminated Parade, the Grand Mardi Gras Parade and the Krewe of Wrecks Pensacola Beach Parade. With deep French roots, it’s no wonder Pensacola was the stomping grounds for one of the first Mardi Gras celebrations in the United States. The Pensacola Beach Krewe of Wrecks is a community-based Mardi Gras organization on Pensacola Beach, Florida. We organize and participate in various events during the Mardi Gras season, which includes parades, balls, and other celebrations. We are especially well-known for hosting the Pensacola Beach Mardi Gras Parade, a vibrant and colorful procession that takes place The Krewe of Seville, a Mardi Gras krewe in Pensacola, Florida was founded in 1997. Our regular meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, at Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government Street. Social time starts at 6:30 PM, with the meeting following thereafter at 7:00 PM. The Krewe of Wrecks is the original Pensacola Beach Mardi Gras krewe. Founded in November of 1979 by Jane Waters Cooper, Frank Douglas and Larry Geisel, the rollicking Wrecks charted the course for Mardi Gras on the Island. Krewe membership is open. Applications and payment are accepted at the Monday night meetings. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. the first Monday before Halloween, weekly. Krewe of “The Krewe of Lafitte, based in Pensacola, FL, is the largest all male Mardi Gras Krewe in the Florida Panhandle. The organization was founded in 1954 to promote and celebrate Carnival. The 275 Krewe members enjoy a strong bond between themselves, as well as their families. Our Grand Mardi Gras Ball will be held this season on February 8, 2024, at the Pensacola Yacht Club. It is open to Krewe members and their guests only. The Krewe of Marionettes Grand Mardi Gras Ball is a formal, black-tie dinner and dance. At this event, new members and Krewe royalty are introduced. About Krewe: The Viking Mystics launched their maiden voyage in the spring of 2016. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to colony involvement through gathering donations and lending a hand to fellow villagers. The Krewe of Wrecks Pensacola Beach Mardi Gras Parade, celebrating its 45th anniversary, is a vibrant, family-friendly event held annually on Pensacola Beach. The parade features colorful floats, lively music, and costumed participants tossing beads and trinkets to enthusiastic crowds. The Krewe of Seville is a local co-ed Mardi Gras Krewe in Pensacola Florida. The Krewe of Seville has been celebrating since 1996 and the Krewe’s purpose is to give back to the community, have fun and participate in Mardi Gras events and parade. KOS chooses a local charity each year and provides a monetary donation voted on by the Krewe Our goddesses have formed lifelong friendships and are proud to be a part of such a special piece of Pensacola’s long history. Our annual Mardi Gras Ball unmasks our royalty, Aphrodite, and her Apollo and court who will preside over our events for one year. We parade at Mardi Gras, Fiesta, and Christmas and have private socials throughout the One of the country’s original celebration sites, Downtown Pensacola and Pensacola Beach host family-oriented fun with parades, beads and moonpies. Signature Mardi Gras events include the Krewe of Lafitte Illuminated Parade, the Grand Mardi Gras Parade and the Krewe of Wrecks Pensacola Beach Parade. Crusing down the streets of downtown Pensacola since 1998, the Krewe of Hip Huggers give way to mod 60’s fashion, gogo boots and platforms! About Krewe: This Krewe is fine as wine with their peace and love attitude and their float in the form of a vancan ya dig it? The Town Crier will announce and individual proclamation for each participating Krewe. The King’s and Queen’s of the Mardi Gras Krewes will reign over a 2 nd Line Procession which will officially start the Pensacola Mardi Gras Kick Off Celebration on the 12 th Night. The 2nd line band will escort a walking procession which is scheduled to Pensacola’s Mardi Gras celebrates multiple cultures and customs with a unique local flair that only Pensacola, Florida can offer. Each year, Pensacola’s Mardi Gras draws in over 100,000 people for its main event, the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade, which takes place in downtown Pensacola on the Saturday before Fat Tuesday.
