They do have a decent bar/restaurant on premise that is one of few joints in Vegas that grill their wings. It is pretty good and reasonable price. When I go to conventions I sometimes walk over there to get lunch, much better than the options at LVCC and cheaper too. Stayed in a Mardi Gras back in 2014 & was small but ok for me, view was the parking garage on a low floor! Last trip i was in a resort room in Bally’s, v nice & big but fancy a change & less of a walk to the strip etc. It's more Motor Lodge than Casino Hotel. Also, it's on Paradise, which is quite a hike from Las Vegas Blvd. They have a very small casino there, but if you're expecting Paris or even Imperial Palace, you may likely be disappointed. You have been in Vegas before, but how far have you ventured Off Strip or away from Fremont Street? Credit / debit card systems have a tendency to go down during Mardi Gras. ATMs will run out of cash. Cell service is usually very hit-and-miss. Wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty. Plan on throwing away or burning your shoes after Mardi Gras is over. While Mardi Gras is definitely a huge party season for us, you're guaranteed to get lots of partying in the French Quarter and [somewhat] lower-key happenings on Frenchmen Street any time of the year, street parades, huge celebrations for St. Patrick's and Halloween, music festivals, and all sorts of things. Mardi Gras great for kids, Bourbon Street is not. I can understand how a tourist/outside like yourself can think Mardi Gras and The French Quarter/Bourbon Street are one in the same, but the reality is you can experience everything Mardi Gras has to offer and be miles away from the French Quarter. Please, come, bring the fam, have a great time. Sphere to Mardi Gras hotel and all those hotels on Paradise is about a 15 minute walk give or take how far down the street you go. At 10 pm, the swing shift in a lot of resorts get out and there's plenty of foot traffic and usually the shows at the sphere are out by then if not 11pm if it's a late show. Looking for the cheapest hotels or rooms in vegas for one night, including resort fees, if there are none, even better. Cheap as possible without being crazy ghetto, i woukd say motel 6 but even motel 6 charges around 70 a night. Because if it's downtown, the Fremont or the 4 Queens would make sense. If your concert is on the strip, then, depending where. Mardi Gras or the Orleans would make more sense. I just recently had two rooms at Mardi Gras. Neither room had bed bugs. Which unfortunately and frustratingly, Las Vegas has recently been dealing with outbreaks of bed I’m going to be in town for Super Bowl weekend Feb9-Feb12 and am looking for a good place to watch the game. I’m staying at The Orleans and they have a watch party in the Mardi Gras Ballroom. I found a Big Game Watch Party at Westgate, which looks awesome. My main question is has anyone been to the SB watch party at the Orleans ? How is the Mardi Gras event my first time going r/vegas.
